New Digital SLR Cameras

Digital cameras have come a long way since the traditions film cameras that used to be ever popular. The Canon EOS 1000D digital SLR is a new entry-level camera which falls under the DSLR category of digital cameras. The 1000D has acquired a lot of features from the much expensive canon EOS 450D the EOS 400D which were the older models of DSLR's by canon.

It has the same body shape and uses 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, it has 2.5 inch LCD screen and supports continuous shooting up to a speed of 3.0fps in JPEG format which is the same as the canon EOS 400D.

Canon has very carefully reduced a lot of features when they compare the 1000D to the 450D – like for example they have reduced the mega pixels from 10 and 12, the auto focus points have come down from to 7 from 9, and the lcd has been reduced to 2.5 inches from 3 inch, and the speed has been reduced to 3.0 from 3.5.

The Nikon D3000 is an entry level DSLR by Nikon Digital Cameras. It features a 10.2 Megapixels CMOS sensor with an easy to use system designed for beginners using a DSLR or those who are upgrading from a point and shoot camera. It was launched in July 2009 and it is the successor of the Nikon D60, and sits just below the Nikon D5000. Some of the new features of this Nikon Digital Camera are a 3 inch screen with an 11-point Auto Focus system.

The EX-H10 by Casio Digital Cameras uses a new system of contrast detection for auto focusing, and also includes face detection technology. The metering choices available in this camera are a multi-pattern, center-weighted, and spot metering option, with shutter speeds ranging from 4 second to 1/2,000 of a second.

The ISO sensitivity of this Digital Camera ranges from a minimum of ISO 64 to a maximum of ISO 3,200. The camera has a SD card slot or in the internal memory that is just 35.7MB. It has a very slim design that can easily fit in any pocket.
